Immanuel has many of the groups ordinarily found in most congregations. We have adult and youth groups. These groups are provided to give the members and visitors an opportunity to serve the Lord and each other.

2004/05 Choir Group

Altar Guild - This group consists of women in the congregation of various ages who work with the Pastor in caring for the sacred objects used in the divine service. They take care of the altar, change the colors of paraments, and set and clean up for Holy Communion.

Banner Committee puts the talents of members to work creating banners with Christian symbols and colors to add to the worship and educational life of the congregation.

Lutheran Adult Fellowship provides an opportunity for adults and entire families of the congregation to get to know each other through various social events, activities, and service projects. As a small congregation, Immanuel often brings together many of the groups of the congregation under this heading for a family outing. This groups meets about once every quarter.

Ladies Guild/LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League) meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The Guild hosts a number of congregational events throughout the year, which help our members, new and not so new, to get to know each other better. The Guild also supports mission work both here and around the globe. The Ladies Guild is for all women in the congregation from high school age and up who want to serve the church in a variety of ways. Choir meets for practice on Monday evenings (September through May) at 7:00 P.M. and sings regularly at worship services and special events.

Seniors in Christian Fellowship is one of the most active and consistent groups within the congregation. On the Third Wednesday of Each month this group meets for lunch at 11:0 a.m. at an area restaurant. Following lunch the group comes to the church for a month card game. Individuals 50 years and older will find this a great group of people to be with.
